Patent Litigation: We have broad experience in offensive and defensive patent litigation in district courts around the country, as well as inter partes review trial proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. The firm’s partners have handled a variety of patent litigation matters, including on behalf of a wireless technology and communications company and a provider of smart home/business solutions, relating to a range of technologies, such as home security and smart home technologies, encryption technologies, and assisted GPS technologies. The firm’s partners have also handled inter partes review proceedings that have successfully resulted in patent cancellation. The firm additionally provides guidance regarding intellectual property acquisitions.

Copyright Litigation: The firm’s partners have broad experience in copyright matters, ranging from the alleged copying of source code to the unauthorized use of dance choreographies to the unauthorized transfer of .mp3s via LimeWire, which at the time was among the world’s largest P2P .mp3 file sharing companies.

Trade Secret Matters: The firm also has broad experience in handling trade secret litigation, having represented clients in diverse industries relating to, for example, risk analysis software and coffee and tea makers.
