Scott B. Klugman chaired the 2025 Edward Weinfeld Award Luncheon, bringing together leaders of the New York legal community at the Museum of Jewish Heritage on October 28, 2025. This year’s Edward Weinfeld Award was presented to Chief Judge Debra Ann Livingston of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, in recognition of her extraordinary contributions to the law and the administration of justice. Her colleague in the Second Circuit, Judge Raymond J. Lohier, Jr. presented the award to Chief Judge Livingston, offering reflections on her monumental career. This marks Mr. Klugman’s ninth year chairing the luncheon, which is sponsored by the New York County Lawyers Association’s Federal Courts Committee and annually honors a distinguished jurist with an award named after Judge Edward Weinfeld, who served on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
